Gamemine.com Gift Certificate Information & Terms:
GameMine offers two different programs for the Gamemine Gift Certificates. The first program is for subscription plans.
(1) GameMine Subscription Gift Certificates. GameMine Subscription Gift Certificates may be purchased for one (1), two (2) and three (3) game plans for the GameMine online video game rental subscription service. These certificates can only be redeemed for the subscription service offered by GameMine. They are great gift ideas for friends and family. Additionally, there is an inherent discount towards the subscriptions in purchasing Gift Certificates depending upon the amount of months you allocate towards the certificate. We offer up to three (3) months of subscription service with GameMine Gift Certificates and be sure to keep an eye out for new gift certificates offered by GameMine in the future.
(2) GameMine Store Purchase Gift Certificates. These certificates may be purchased for anyone to use to buy games or other products offered on the GameMine Store. The certificate is for the value as provided on the face of the certificate and is purchased in increments. This certificate cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift Certificates can be used in combination with GameBucks if the recepient has GameBucks.
GameMine Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash value, and do not expire.
Before purchasing and or redeeming a GameMine Gift Certificate, it is important that you review the following bulleted points about the proper use and redemption of these certificates as well as the terms and conditions provided for purchase and use found below.
- GameMine Gift Certificates may be purchased by using a approved credit card directly from the GameMine Gift Certificate Page. In addition to purchasing, you can also request for someone to purchase the Gift Certificate for you using the control for, "Ask for a Gift Certificate."
- GameMine Gift Certificates can only be redeemed for GameMine Online Video Game Rental subscriptions as provided on the face of the certificate.
- GameMine Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. Subscription certificates cannot be used for purchases on the GameMine Store and store certificates cannot be used towards subscription plans. GameMine offers different certificates to provide options for purchasing gift certificates for friends and loved ones, so you should be sure about which certificate you want to purchase for the recepient.
- When creating an account using a GameMine Gift Certificate, you must register using the same information as any regular account, which also includes your billing information, such as any credit or debit card.
- When redeeming a GameMine Gift Certificate during registration, you input the number code into the field for "Gift Certificate" on the second page of the registration. If you fail to input the certificate number at registration, then you will be charged for the signup.
- If you are a current member and receive a GameMine Gift Certificate, you can input the certificate number by using the link on your Account Profile page and the certificate value will be applied towards your next billing cycle(s).

GameMine Gift Certificates Terms and Conditions:
A. GameMine Gift Certificate Program.
GameMine Gift Certificate Program allow people to purchase subscription plans and or a money value towards purchases on the GameMine Store. The gift certificates may not be redeemed or used for any other company other than Gamemine.com and on the www.gamemine.com website. GameMine offers two different types of certificates, Subscription Plan certificates ("SP") and GameMine Store certificates ("GS"). GS and SP certificates cannot be interchanged, meaning you cannot use a GS certificate towards subscription plans and SP certificates cannot be used towards purchases on the GameMine Store. Recepients cannot change the scope of their certificates, and certificates are not redeemable for cash or refundable for cash to avoid misuse of the program and GameMine products and services.
B. Purchasing Gift Certificates.
In order to purchase GameMine Gift Certificate, you must go to gift certificate page on the Gamemine.com website. Gift Certificates may be purchased using the available credit cards as accepted by Gamemine and its merchant account. SP certificates are purchased towards subscription plans for the one (1), two (2) and three (3) game plans for one (1), two (2) or three (3) months. Amounts are subject to change without notice but will never exceed the retail charge for the actual subscription plan. Certificates purchased for SP prior to any change in the certificate amounts will be honored and grandfathered for the recepient. Gift certificates do not expire. Confirmations are received via email for each purchase. Certificates are delivered via email or may be printed at time of purchase. C. Redeeming Gift Certificates.
Redemption. Gift certificates may be redeemed either by use of the gift certificate page or through registration. During registration, you input the number code specifically to its sequence in the text box designated for gift certificates on the second page of the registration. Gift Certificates cannot be compounded with any GameMine promotion unless as otherwise provided by GameMine through any particular promotion offered for Gift Certificates.
SP certificates are redeemed towards subscription plans, and GS certificates may be redeemed for purchases on the GameMine Store. To redeem GS certificates, you must enter the number code specific to the sequence provided on the face of the gift certificate in the text box designated for gift certificates on the shopping cart. The certificate text box is provided on multiple pages of the shopping cart.
If you fail to input the certificate number or input an incorrect number, the system will not recognize the certificate, and you will be charged as a normal transaction for either GameMine Store or the subscription registration. For GS certificates, any additional balance over and above the certificate will require the use of a credit card to cover the additional balance. The card will only be charged for the amount over and above what the certificate covers. Subscription members may also use GS certificates for purchases on the GameMine Store, any balance over and above the face value of the certificate will be charged to the credit card registered to the member.
D. Registering a Certificate for Subscription Plans.
When registering a new account using a gift certificate, the user must input all fields, including billing. The face value of the gift certificate will be applied towads the subscription; however, billing information is required as set forth under the terms and conditions for service. The user should not enter their gift certificate in the billing information, rather in the text box designated for the gift certificate so the system will recognize the certificate and apply the value. If the certificate is inputted improperly or the user fails to input the certificate, the system will charge the customer as a regular registration. At the end of the subscription term provided by the certificate, the user's credit card will be charged for the next billing period. The billing cycle is shown at the top of the Welcome and Account Profile page providing the next date that the card will be charged or the next billing cycle, the billing date is explicitly for the charging of the card, and therefore will show the date of the expiration of the certificate. In order to avoid being charged for subscription, you must cancel the account prior to the next billing date. All cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions set forth for the Gamemine.com subscription service, found here www.gamemine.com/terms.html.
Credit cards are used for those subscriptions creating with gift certificates for the following: (1) purchases on the GameMine Store, (2) cancellation authorizations and charges as provided in the terms and conditions, (3) recurring billing for the subscription post completion of the gift certificate subscription cycle.
Members of the subscription service may use SP certificates towards future billing cycles for their plan. The member can redeem their certificates through the link on their Account Page providing for inputting gift certificate codes. The certificate value will be applied towards their next billing cycle, and then the billing cycle date will change to the expiration of the certificate.
New members who use gift certificates for their registrations will not be able to use promotional pricing for their first billed month post expiration of the certificate.
E. Use.
GameMine Gift Certificate Program is exclusive to Gamemine.com products and services and cannot be used for any other purpose. Certificates cannot be exchanged for other certificates or broken down into multiple certificates. Once the number is entered, the certificate is no longer valid. Therefore, any unused portion of the subscription service covered by the gift certificate may not be redeemed in the event you cancel during such term. Users forfeit the certificate in the event of any such cancellation.
Partons may use the "Ask for a Certificate" module on the gift certificate page to include emails of individuals who they would like to request to purchase a gift certificate on the patron's behalf. Once the information and emails are inputted and submitted, the system sends an automated email to the recepients indicating that the submitting user requests a gift certificate for GameMine Products and or Subscription Service has been requested. The user may also request a copy be sent to the submitting party. The emails provided for this control module are only used for that specific purpose and shall not be used for any promotional or marketing contact.
F. Taxes.
Depending upon the state of purchase, taxes may be applicable and will be levied at the time of purchase. The taxes are not included in the gift certificate value.
G. Games Purchased Using Gift Certificates.
Games purchased using GS certificates may be not be returned for money value, but rather exchanged for the copy of the same game should the game be damaged and subject to the "damaged games" return policy set forth under terms and conditions. Games returned consistent with the return policy for purchased products pursuant to the terms and conditions for Gamemine.com will be afforded store credit towards future purchases in the amount of value of the certificate and any other additional balance towards that particular purchase. This does not apply towards any purchases outside the scope of the face value of the certificate; i.e GS certificate value of $30.00, user buys two games, $35.00 each and returns both games consistent with the return policy in terms and conditions. First game is covered by store credit in amount of $35.00, the second game may be returned for purchase value, where and if applicable and as provided in the terms and conditions.
H. Changes and General Terms.
These terms and conditions for the GameMine Gift Certificate Program are subject entirely to the general terms and conditions for Gamemine.com, found on www.gamemine.com/terms.html. These terms and conditions are subject to change withouto notice. Pricing is also subject to change without notice. Any gift certificates purchased prior to any change in value of the gift certificates will be honored consistent to the face value of the certificate. Any difference as a result of any new discount offered towards certificates shall not be applicable, applied or credited towards priorly purchased certificates. Any certificate purchased that may have a lower face value than new certificate values will be honored and the user will not have to subsidize any difference in balance or value. GS certificates shall maintain their face value and shall not change or be modified based on any changes in the pricing for any products on the GameMine Store. GS certificates do not accrue any interest or additional value over time.
